Roger Limb

Roger Limb was a member of the BBC Radiophonic Workshop from 1972 until 1995. Limb composed music for many Doctor Who stories during the early ‘80s, including the fan favourites ‘The Caves of Androzani’ and ‘Revelation of the Daleks’. He is, arguably, the most jazz and pop-in- fluenced of the Workshop team, as can be heard on his music for childrens’ TV shows such as Earth Warp and You and Me, as well as contagious Radiophonic favourite ‘Swirley’. He also has the distinction of having a tune – ‘Passing Clouds’ from 1976 – sampled by Prince (on the album Lovesexy). Before joining the Workshop, Limb was a regular BBC announcer whose voice will be familiar to viewers of a certain age.

In performance Roger Limb will be using Korg Kronos, Korg KingKorg, 1976 Fender Precision Bass Guitar.
